Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (QCF)

These qualifications provide learners with the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to perform the role of an assessor.

This qualification is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in a workshop, classroom or other training environment rather than assessing competence in a work environment. There must be evidence to cover all of the assessment methods listed in the units.

Entry Requirements

There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

These qualifications are assessed through

  • *Practical demonstration -Group discussion -Case study -Written assignment -Observation of learner’s skills -Question and answer sessions
